Do you already have a place?

If you are lucky enough to have secured a place through the race organisers’ ballot, we’d love you to join 'Team BCCS'. We only have a limited amount of guaranteed places available, so we really appreciate any sponsorship money raised by people who have already secured their own places.

For further information, please email Damian who will be happy to help.

Our previous Marathon runners are our best ambassadors - here's what they have to say about being part of the event for BCCS:

'The London Marathon was one of the best days of my life; 26.2 miles of deafening support from the crowd as you pass Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge and, at last, Buckingham Palace is something I’ll never forget.

It was an honour to do my bit for a charity like BCCS and help them continue to provide such amazing support to a large number of children in the local community.

Trust me, being part of the amazing atmosphere on the streets of London for that day makes all those training runs in the cold worthwhile.

I would strongly urge anyone even considering running the London Marathon to go for it. Just make sure you’ve got yourself some comfortable trainers and your name on your purple BCCS vest for the big day; the crowd will do the rest of the work for you!'
